MOORESVILLE WIENER RACES 2021
The Mooresville Wiener Race is a Dachshund race presented by the Mooresville Downtown Commission and organized by Wagamuffins Dog Boutique. This entertaining, charitable event helps raise awareness and donations for Lake Norman Humane and is open for the public to attend at no cost! This year we have some awesome new categories and opportunities to show off your pup if you want to register him or her to compete. Otherwise, just join us for the fun, the food, and the festivities!

Downtown Mooresville Wiener Races

From 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: Grassy lot on the corner of East Center Street and North Church Street in Downtown Mooresville. Parking info will be provided prior to event.
Admission is free for spectators. Registration is required for participants.
The Downtown Mooresville Festival of Food Trucks event will start on Main Street at 5:00pm so hang out for plenty more food and fun!
2021 Races:
Puppies: 4 months to 1 year old
Juniors: 1 year to 5 years old
Adults: 5 years to 10 years old
Seniors: 10 years and older
Special Needs: Wheelchairs, blind/deaf, etc. of all ages
Weenie Wannabes: all dachshunds taller than 11 inches, as well as any non-dachshund breed up to 35 pounds

Best Dressed Contest (open to all breeds)
Best Trick Contest (open to all breeds)
Longest Body Contest (Dachshunds only)
Shortest Legs Contest (Dachshunds only)
Strongest Willed (open to all breeds)
